- Drupad organizes a Swayamvar for
Draupadi
- Both Kauravas and Pandavas
attended the Swayamvar
- Shoot and arrow in the fish’s eye
while watching a reflection
- Arjuna not only lifted the bow but
even fulfilled the challenge
- Arjuna, the champion archer, won
Draupadi’s hand
- Draupadi humiliated Karna and said
that a man like Karna should not be in the middle of these Kings even with all
the skills he had
- Karna had a fierce look that could
kill
- Krishna saw the whole picture
- All five Pandavas shared Draupadi
because Kunti accidently told them to share what they brought
- The Pandavas escape the wax palace,
and marry Draupadi
- He informed Drupad that Draupadi married
all five brothers
- Draupadi prayed for a man with
five virtues in a previous life
- The Kauravas were infuriated and angered
- They asked Bhishma what they should
do, and that was to bring the Pandavas back to Hastinapur
- The Pandavas were suspicious but
still decided to go back to Hastinapur
- Yudhishthira was crowned King
- The land they were given a wasteland
- Vishwakarma designed the Kingdom
- Decided to burn the forest, and
the new Kingdom was built into Indraprastha
- Distributed land to the residents
- Duryodhana was infuriated, and
decided to plan something against the Pandavas
- Narada to visit the Pandavas
- When Narada met Draupadi he was
worried – Asur brothers
- Their love might cause disruption
- Narada suggested that each brother
must keep Draupadi for one year, and no one should intrude
- Whoever doesn’t abide, must be in
exile for 12 years
- Arjuna was shocked to hear that
there were thieves, weapons were in Yudhishthira’s chambers
- Had to help the Brahmin
immediately
- Arjuna walked in, and sentenced
himself to 12 years in exile
- Arjuna was pulled down by a woman Ulapi
and spent time with them
- The Brahmin’s took off as they
were tired, Arjuna continued his journey
- He fell in love with Chitrangada
and extended marriage, and they had a child – a son
- Krishna and Arjuna spent time together,
all his experience was good
- Krishna happily agreed to marry
Arjuna and Subhadra
- Went to Dwarka to marry Subhadra,
and escaped with her on the day of a festival
